Abstract
A sense amplifier includes a storage element and logic circuitry to transition encode an output signal.
Claims23
A sense amplifier comprising:
- a pair of cross-coupled transistors;
- a first differential input stage coupled to the pair of cross-coupled transistors;
- a first enable transistor to conditionally turn on the first differential input stage;
- a second differential input stage coupled to the pair of cross-coupled transistors;
- and
- a second enable transistor to conditionally turn on the second differential input stage.
3 more elements
A cache memory having a sense amplifier with enable logic circuitry and a storage element to transition encode an output signal of the sense amplifier.
An electronic system comprising:
- an antenna;
- and
- an integrated circuit coupled to the antenna, the integrated circuit including a cache memory having a sense amplifier with enable logic circuitry and a storage element to transition encode an output signal of the sense amplifier.
A method comprising:
- saving a state of a previous output of a sense amplifier;
- and
- enabling one of two input stages of the sense amplifier based in part on the state of the previous output.
