Transflective liquid crystal display panel, transflective pixel structure thereof and manufacturing process thereof

A transflective liquid crystal display panel, comprising:

• a first substrate, comprising:
• a plurality of scan lines and a plurality of data lines to define a plurality of pixel regions;
• a plurality of thin film transistors respectively disposed in each of the pixel regions, wherein each thin film transistor is electrically connected to one of the scan lines and one of the data lines correspondingly;
• a plurality of pixel electrodes respectively disposed in each of the pixel regions, wherein each pixel electrode is electrically connected to one of the thin film transistors correspondingly, and each pixel electrode comprises a reflective region and a transmissive region;
• an organic material layer, covering the thin film transistors and the pixel electrodes, wherein the organic material layer comprises a plurality of refracting patterns on its upper surface over the transmissive regions of the pixel electrodes;
• a second substrate comprising an electrode film thereon;
• and
• a liquid crystal layer disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate.

A manufacturing process of a transflective pixel structure, comprising:

• forming a scan line and a gate on a substrate;
• forming a gate insulating layer on the substrate to cover the scan line and the gate;
• forming a channel layer on the gate insulating layer over the gate;
• forming a source and a drain on the channel layer, and forming a data line which is electrically connected to the source;
• forming a pixel electrode over the substrate, wherein the pixel electrode is electrically connected to the drain, and the pixel electrode comprises a reflective region and a transmissive region;
• forming an organic material layer over the substrate to cover the pixel electrode and the thin film transistor;
• and
• forming a plurality of refracting patterns on an upper surface of the organic material layer over the transmissive region of the pixel electrode.
