Abstract
A method, apparatus and article of manufacture for creating visualization of documents. In one embodiment, the method comprises identifying document information associated with a document and converting the document information to one or more constrained time-based media channels.

A method comprising:
- identifying document information associated with a document;
- and
- converting the document information to one or more constrained time-based media channels.
An article of manufacture comprising one or more recordable media having instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to perform a method comprising:
- identifying document information associated with a document;
- and
- converting the document information to one or more constrained time-based media channels.
A method comprising:
- identifying visual information in a document;
- identifying audible information from the document that is convertible to audio;
- selecting portions of the visual information and audible information for inclusion into a multimedia representation of the document;
- and
- composing the multimedia representation with audio based on selected audible information with selected visual information.
An apparatus comprising:
- an analyzer to identify visual information in a document and identify audible information from the document that is convertible to audio;
- a selector to select portions of the visual information and audible information for inclusion into a multimedia representation of the document;
- and
- a synthesizer to compose the multimedia representation with audio based on selected audible information synchronized with selected visual information.
An article of manufacture having one or more recordable media with instructions thereon which, when executed by a system, cause the system to perform a method comprising:
- identifying visual information in a document;
- identifying audible information from the document that is convertible to audio;
- selecting portions of the visual information and audible information for inclusion into a multimedia representation of the document;
- and
- composing the multimedia representation with audio based on selected audible information synchronized with selected visual information.
A method comprising:
- performing at least one imaging operation on a document;
- identifying visual information in a document image;
- selecting portions of the visual information for inclusion into a multimedia representation of the document;
- and
- displaying the multimedia representation on a display to enable review of the results of the at least one imaging operation.
An article of manufacture comprising one or more recordable media having instructions stored thereon which, when executed by a computer, cause the computer to perform a method comprising:
- performing at least one imaging operation on a document;
- identifying visual information in a document image;
- selecting portions of the visual information for inclusion into a multimedia representation of the document;
- and
- displaying the multimedia representation on a display to enable review of the results of the at least one imaging operation.
An apparatus comprising:
- means for performing at least one imaging operation on a document;
- means for identifying visual information in a document image;
- means for selecting portions of the visual information for inclusion into a multimedia representation of the document;
- and
- means for displaying the multimedia representation on a display to enable review of the results of the at least one imaging operation.
