Abstract
Polyorganosiloxane compositions crosslinkable by addition of Si-bonded hydrogen to aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple bonds which have extended pot life or are preparable as storage stable one component compositions including latent catalysts of specific platinum complexes.
Claims16
A crosslinkable polyorganosiloxane composition comprising
- (A) polyorganosiloxane(s) which bear radicals having aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple bonds,
- (B) polyorganosiloxanes with Si-bonded hydrogen atoms, or,
- (C) instead of or in addition to (A) and (B), polyorganosiloxanes which bear SiC-bonded radicals with aliphatic carbon-carbon multiple bonds and also have Si-bonded hydrogen atoms, and
- (D) at least one platinum catalyst of the structures:
- in which
- R1 is an optionally substituted diene which is bonded to platinum by at least one bond and is an unbranched or branched chain having from 4 to 18 carbon atoms, a cyclic or bicyclic system having from 6 to 28 carbon atoms,
- e is 0, 1, 2 or 3,
- f is 0, 1, 2 or 3, with the proviso that e+f is 4 for silanes and is 0, 1, 2 or 3 for siloxanes, and that at least one unit where e does not equal 0 is present,
- U is O, NR2, or N—C(═O)—N(H)R2
- W is NR7, C(R3)—CO2R3, C(R3)—C(=Z)-R3, S, O, or C(R3)2
- X is NR2, C(R3)—CO2R3, C(R3)—C(=Z)-R3, S, O, or C(R3)2
- Y is NR2, C(R3)—CO2R3, C(R3)—C(=Z)-R3, S, O, or C(R3)—CN
- Z is O, S, Se, NR2, or CR42
- R2 are each independently hydrogen or a monovalent optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical having from 1 to 24 carbon atoms which optionally contains one or more heteroatoms in the chains or the rings, preferably a heteroatom selected from among the O, S, Se, N, P, and As,
- R3 are each independently hydrogen, or a monovalent, optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical having from 1 to 28 carbon atoms,
- R4 are each independently hydrogen, or a monovalent, optionally substituted hydrocarbon radical having from 1 to 24 carbon atoms, with the proviso that at least one radical is —CN, —CO2R3, —C(═O)—R3, —NO2, —C(═O)—H or halogen,
- R5 are each independently divalent, optionally substituted hydrocarbon radicals having from 1 to 26 carbon atoms,
- R6 are each independently monovalent, optionally substituted hydrocarbon radicals having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms and
- R7 are each independently monovalent, optionally substituted hydrocarbon radicals having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms.
