Abstract
Ester mixtures comprising a mixture of esterification products formed from polyether polyols, one or more aromatic monocarboxylic acids or aromatic monocarboxylic acid derivatives and one or more aliphatic monocarboxylic acids or aliphatic monocarboxylic acid derivatives, to a process for their preparation, and to their use as plasticizers for polymers.

An ester mixture comprising at least two or more compounds of the general formula (I)
- wherein
- R1 is a straight-chain or branched C5- to C21-alkyl radical,
- R2, R3, R4 and R5 are each independently H or C1- to C4-alkyl radicals,
- R6 is a C6- to C14-aryl radical which is optionally substituted by one to three C1- to C4-alkyl radicals,
- Z is a 3- to 6-valent aliphatic hydrocarbon radical,
- x and y are each independently 0 to 6, where x+y has to be >0,
- a is 0 to 6, where a has to be >0,
- b is 0 to 6 and
- a is <or equals b and
- the sum of a+b equals the valency of the Z radical.
