Abstract
An anode active material comprises graphite core particles, and a first coating layer and a second coating layer formed on the surface of the graphite core particles. The first coating layer comprises silicon microparticles and the second coating layer comprises carbon fiber.

An anode active material, comprising:
- a graphite core;
- and
- a first coating layer formed on the surface of the graphite core;
- and
- a second coating layer formed on the surface of the graphite core,
- wherein the first coating layer comprises silicon microparticles, and
- the second coating layer comprises carbon fiber.

A method for preparing an anode active material, comprising:
- combining a polymer material, graphite core particles, and silicon microparticles with a solvent to form a first mixture;
- stirring and drying the first mixture;
- drying with stirring;
- calcining to form a graphite core with a first coating layer;
- combining a first mixture polymer material, graphite core particles with the first coating layer, and carbon fibers, with a solvent to form a second mixture;
- stirring and drying the second mixture;
- and
- calcining the second mixture to form a graphite core with a first coating layer and a second coating layer.
