Aqueous sunless tanning formulations employed for automatic spray systems with enhanced tanning and skin moisturization properties.

Cosmetic aqueous sunless tanning compositions employed in automated spray systems for use by persons acquiring a sunless tanning appearance, said compositions being characterized by enhanced tanning and skin moisturizing properties, said compositions being composed of:
- a) 0.5%-20% by weight (w/w) Dihydroxyacetone (DHA),
- b) 0.5-5.0% by weight sodium lactate or lactic acid
- c) an aqueous carrier vehicle
