Abstract
A method and apparatus for using a sheet of paper to control document processing is described. In one embodiment, the method comprises scanning a first sheet of paper and a first document, identifying one or more processing operations identified on the first sheet of paper, performing the one or more processing operations on the first document, and generating a second sheet of paper that encodes the first document and the processing operations.

A method comprising:
- scanning a first sheet of paper;
- identifying one or more processing operations identified on the first sheet of paper;
- performing the one or more processing operations on a first document;
- and
- generating a second sheet of paper that encodes the processing operations.
