Abstract
An image heating apparatus includes first image heating means for heating a toner image on a recording material; first temperature detecting means for detecting a temperature of the first image heating means; second image heating means for heating the toner image on the recording material heated by the first image heating means; a second temperature detecting means for detecting a temperature of the second image heating means; changing means for changing a number of recording materials passing through the first image heating means and the second image heating means per unit time on the basis of the detected temperature by the first image heating means and a detected temperature by the second image heating means.
Claims4
An image heating apparatus comprising:
- first image heating means for heating a toner image on a recording material;
- first temperature detecting means for detecting a temperature of said first image heating means;
- second image heating means for heating the toner image on the recording material heated by said first image heating means;
- a second temperature detecting means for detecting a temperature of said second image heating means;
- changing means for changing a number of recording materials passing through said first image heating means and said second image heating means per unit time on the basis of the detected temperature by said first image heating means and a detected temperature by said second image heating means.
An apparatus for improving a glossiness of a toner image fixed on the recording material, said apparatus comprising:
- image heating means for heating the toner image fixed on the recording material;
- temperature detecting means for detecting a temperature of said image heating means ;
- and
- changing means for changing a number of the recording materials passing through said image heating means per unit time.
