Method and system for inquiring facsimile result of multifuntion peripheral

A method for inquiring a facsimile result of a facsimile machine, said facsimile machine comprising a web server, said method comprising steps of:

• selecting one or more documents and one or more destination addresses;
• performing a facsimile operation to transmit said one or more documents to said one or more destination addresses;
• storing an image of a designated document and a designated destination address involving a transmitting error;
• and
• communicating said web server with a computer, thereby inquiring said image of said designated document and said designated destination address.

A multifunction peripheral for transmitting one or more documents to one or more destination addresses, comprising:

• a facsimile server for performing a facsimile operation to transmit said one or more documents to said one or more destination addresses, issuing a triggering signal when any transmitting error of said one or more documents occurs, and storing an image of a designated document and a designated destination address involving said transmitting error;
• a mail server in communication with said facsimile server, and issuing a facsimile failure message to a computer in response to said triggering signal;
• and
• a web server in communication with said computer, and in response to said facsimile failure message, a facsimile result being inquired by said computer via said web server.
