Abstract
A method for producing a polybutylene terephthalate film comprising extruding a molten polybutylene terephthalate resin through a T-die in the shape of a film; slowly cooling the resultant film in a substantially unoriented state to crystallize said polybutylene terephthalate resin; and orienting the crystallized film.

A method for producing a polybutylene terephthalate film comprising extruding a molten polybutylene terephthalate resin through a T-die in the shape of a film;
- slowly cooling the resultant film in a substantially unoriented state at a speed of 30° C./second or less to crystallize said polybutylene terephthalate resin;
- and orienting the crystallized film.
