Abstract
A dishwasher provided with a parallelepiped housing with an opening in a forward wall and a sealing gasket mounted on the lower surface of its top wall and a drawer-like washing compartment having upper margins and moveable relative to the housing along rails mounted at an inclination on the side walls in the interior of the housing between a first position outside the housing and a second position within the housing in which the upper margins engage the sealing gasket.

A dishwasher, comprising:
- a housing of substantially parallelepiped configuration having a top wall, first and second side walls, and a front wall defining an opening;
- sealing means mounted on the lower surface of the top wall;
- a washing compartment movable between positions outside and inside the housing and provided with opposite side walls and an end wall provided with upper margins;
- first and second rail members respectively mounted at an upward inclination towards the rear of the interior of housing on the first and second side walls thereof;
- means mounted on the washing compartment on each opposite side wall thereof for engaging the first and second rail members for movement therealong between a first position in which the washing compartment is outside of the housing and a second position inside the housing with the upper margins in engagement with the sealing means.
