Liquid crystal display device and fabricating method thereof

A liquid crystal display device comprising:

• a first substrate;
• a second substrate opposing the first substrate to be spaced apart from the first substrate with a prescribed gap;
• first liquid crystals in the gap between the first and second substrates, the first liquid crystals having a first thermal expansion coefficient;
• and
• a spacer provided on either the first or second substrate, the spacer containing second liquid crystals having a second thermal expansion coefficient.

A liquid crystal display device comprising:

• a first substrate;
• a second substrate opposing the first substrate to be spaced apart from the first substrate with a prescribed gap;
• liquid crystals in the gap between the first and second substrates;
• and
• a spacer provided to either the first or second substrate, the spacer containing a material dispersed therewithin that has a thermal expansion coefficient substantially equal to or greater than that of the liquid crystals.

A method of fabricating a liquid crystal display device, comprising:

• coating a first material containing a second material disposed therein on a first substrate, the second material having a thermal expansion coefficient at least about that of the first material;
• forming a spacer using the first material;
• and
• providing liquid crystals between the first substrate and a second substrate, the liquid crystals having a thermal expansion coefficient substantially equal to or less than that of the second material.
