Abstract
A wheel has a first support having a first axis, a second support having a second axis, a rim having a third axis, and a spinner assembly having a fourth axis. The first and second supports support the rim, and the spinner assembly is rotatably mounted between the first and second supports, such that the first, second, third, and fourth axes are aligned. The wheel further includes a spinner locking mechanism for locking the spinner assembly with the first and/or second supports.

A wheel, comprising:
- a first support having a first axis;
- a second support having a second axis;
- a rim having a third axis;
- a spinner assembly having a fourth axis, wherein the first and second supports support the rim, and the spinner assembly is rotatably mounted between the first and second supports, such that the first, second, third, and fourth axes are aligned;
- and
- a spinner locking mechanism for locking the spinner assembly with the first and/or second supports for selectively locking the spinner assembly in place and preventing rotation of the spinner assembly with respect to the first and second supports.
