Movable contact unit and panel switch

A movable contact unit comprising:

• a movable contact made of a resilient metal sheet, the movable contact having a round dome shape with an open bottom;
• and
• a base sheet made of an insulating film, the base sheet adhering a dome tip of the movable contact with an adhesive on its undersurface so as to secure the movable contacts at a plurality of predetermined positions;
• wherein
• the adhesive on the undersurface of the base sheet has a ring non-adhesive area where the adhesive is not applied on a periphery of the movable contact disposed at a center of the base sheet;
• a supplementary adhesive is applied to a portion of the ring non-adhesive area on the movable contact disposed near an edge of the base sheet, the supplementary adhesive being applied to the portion of the ring toward the edge of the base sheet in a way such that the supplementary adhesive at least reaches the adhesive applied to a border of the base sheet;
• and
• the movable contact disposed near the edge is adhered to and held by the base sheet with the adhesive including the supplementary adhesive.
