Urine collection assembly

A urine collection assembly, comprising:

• a urine collection device;
• a urine collection chamber that communicates with the urine collection device, the chamber comprising:
• a collection reservoir configured to be wearable in close proximity to a user's body below the waist and above the knees of the user and to hold urine excreted from a user,
• an entrance conduit having an inlet to receive urine from the urine collection device and an outlet terminating in the collection reservoir, the inlet being disposed in close approximation to the urine collection device to direct urine from the urine collection device to the collection reservoir,
• an anti-reflux valve communicating with the entrance conduit to receive urine from the entrance conduit, and
• an exit conduit configured to enable drainage of the collection reservoir and attachment of the collection reservoir to an additional urine collection chamber, whereby the exit conduit can seal to a connector of drainage tubing of the additional urine collection chamber;
• and
• a support device wearable by the user to bear the weight of the urine collection chamber and to support the inlet of the urine collection chamber in close approximation to the urine collection device when the urine collection device is affixed to the user.

A urine collection chamber for use with a urine collection device, the urine collection chamber comprising:

• a collection reservoir configured to be wearable in close proximity to a user's body below the waist and above the knees of the user and to hold urine excreted from a user;
• an entrance conduit having an inlet to receive urine from the urine collection device and an outlet terminating in the collection reservoir, wherein any component of the entrance conduit that has a Shore A durometer of greater than 60 is no larger than 1.125 inches in length;
• an anti-reflux valve communicating with the entrance conduit to receive urine from the entrance conduit;
• and
• an exit conduit configured to enable drainage of the collection reservoir and attachment of the collection reservoir to an additional urine collection chamber, whereby the exit conduit can seal to a connector of drainage tubing of the additional urine collection chamber,
• wherein the inlet of the urine collection chamber is disposed in close approximation to a urine collection device to direct urine from the urine collection device to the collection reservoir.

A support device for use with a fluid collection device worn by a user and a fluid collection chamber, the fluid collection chamber having an inlet to receive fluid from the fluid collection device, comprising:

• a suspension mechanism worn on the human body that bears the weight of the fluid collection chamber;
• and
• a support mechanism to support the fluid collection chamber relative to the suspension mechanism;
• wherein the support device supports the fluid collection chamber such that the inlet of the fluid collection chamber is disposed in close approximation to the fluid collection device to direct fluid from the fluid collection device to the fluid collection chamber.

A fluid collection assembly, comprising:

• a fluid collection device;
• and
• a fluid collection chamber that communicates with the fluid collection device, the fluid collection chamber comprising:
• a collection reservoir wearable by a user,
• an entrance conduit having an inlet to receive fluid from the fluid collection device and an outlet terminating in the collection reservoir,
• an anti-reflux valve communicating with the entrance conduit to receive fluid from the entrance conduit, and
• an exit conduit configured to enable drainage of the collection reservoir and attachment of the collection reservoir to an additional fluid collection chamber, whereby the exit conduit can seal to a connector of drainage tubing of the additional fluid collection chamber;
• wherein the inlet of the fluid collection chamber is disposed in close approximation to the fluid collection device to direct fluid from the fluid collection device to the fluid collection reservoir.

A fluid collection chamber that communicates with a fluid collection device, the fluid collection chamber, comprising:

• a collection reservoir wearable in close proximity to a user's body;
• an entrance conduit having an inlet to receive fluid from the fluid collection device and an outlet terminating in the collection reservoir;
• an anti-reflux valve communicating with the entrance conduit to receive fluid from the entrance conduit;
• and
• an exit conduit configured to enable drainage of the collection reservoir and attachment of the collection reservoir to an additional fluid collection chamber, whereby the exit conduit can seal to a connector of drainage tubing of the additional fluid collection chamber,
• wherein the inlet of the fluid collection chamber is disposed in close approximation to the fluid collection device to direct fluid from the fluid collection device to the collection reservoir.

A urine collection chamber for use with a urine collection device, the urine collection chamber comprising:

• a collection reservoir configured to be wearable in close proximity to a user's body below the waist and above the knees of the user and to hold urine excreted from a user, the collection reservoir having a tapered neck portion,
• an entrance conduit having an inlet to receive urine from the urine collection device and an outlet terminating in the collection reservoir,
• an anti-reflux valve communicating with the entrance conduit to receive urine from the entrance conduit, and
• an exit conduit configured to enable drainage of the collection reservoir;
• wherein the inlet of the urine collection chamber is disposed in close approximation to the urine collection device to direct urine from the urine collection device to the collection reservoir, and
• wherein the tapered neck portion and the entrance conduit are constructed to enable the inlet of the urine collection chamber to remain in close approximation to the urine collection device, affixed to a male user, as the urine collection device retracts into a retraction channel of the user.

A urine collection for use with a urine collection device, the urine collection chamber comprising:

• a collection reservoir configured to be wearable in close proximity to a user's body below the waist and above the knees of the user and to hold urine excreted from a user,
• an entrance conduit having an inlet to receive urine from the urine collection device and an outlet terminating in the collection reservoir,
• an anti-reflux valve communicating with the entrance conduit to receive urine from the entrance conduit, and
• an exit conduit configured to enable drainage of the collection reservoir, the exit conduit having a durometer measurement of less than or equal to 60 Shore A durometer,
• wherein the inlet of the urine collection chamber is disposed in close approximation to the urine collection device to direct urine from the urine collection device to the collection reservoir.

A urine collection chamber for use with a urine collection device, the urine collection chamber comprising:

• a collection reservoir configured to be wearable in close proximity to a user's body below the waist and above the knees of the user and to hold urine excreted from a user, the collection reservoir having a tapered neck portion,
• an entrance conduit having an inlet to receive urine from the urine collection device and an outlet terminating in the collection reservoir,
• an anti-reflux valve communicating with the entrance conduit to receive urine from the entrance conduit, and
• an exit conduit configured to enable drainage of the collection reservoir;
• wherein the inlet of the urine collection chamber is disposed in close approximation to the urine collection device to direct urine from the urine collection device to the collection reservoir, and
• wherein the tapered neck portion and the entrance conduit are constructed to enable the inlet of the urine collection chamber to remain in close approximation to the urine collection device, affixed to a female user, as the urine collection device conforms to a retracted position of the user's urinary meatus.
