Abstract
A RTV heat conductive silicone rubber composition comprising (A) an organopolysiloxane having hydrolyzable groups at both ends, (B) an organopolysiloxane having at least one hydrolyzable group at one end, (C) a heat conductive filler, and (D) an organosilicon compound having a hydrolyzable group or a partial hydrolytic condensate thereof experiences a minimized viscosity increase even when loaded with a large amount of heat conductive filler (C), has good potting, coating and sealing properties, and is suited for use in one package form.
Claims5
A RTV heat conductive silicone rubber composition comprising
- (A) 60 to 99% by weight of an organopolysiloxane of the general formula (1):
- wherein R1 is hydrogen or a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, R2 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, Z is an oxygen atom or a divalent hydrocarbon group, a is 0, 1 or 2, and n is an integer of at least 10,
- (B) 1 to 40% by weight of a hydrolyzable group-containing organopolysiloxane of the general formula (2):
- wherein R3 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, R4 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, b is 0, 1 or 2, and m is an integer of 5 to 90, the sum of components (A) and (B) being 100% by weight,
- (C) 100 to 4,000 parts by weight of a heat conductive filler per 100 parts by weight of components (A) and (B) combined, and
- (D) 1 to 50 parts by weight of an organosilicon compound per 100 parts by weight of components (A) and (B) combined, the organosilicon compound having the formula:
- R5cSiX4-c wherein R5 is a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group, X is a hydrolyzable group, and c is 0, 1 or 2, or a partial hydrolytic condensate thereof.
