A composition comprising:
- (i) a chelating aminocarboxylic acid-C8-C22 amine complex;
- (ii) a C15-C21 bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amide;
- and (iii) a C15-C44 imidazoline compound.
A composition comprising:
- (a) a chelating aminocarboxylic acid-C8-C22 amine complex;
- (b) a C15-C21 bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amide;
- (c) a C15-C44 imidazoline compound;
- and
- (d) a petroleum product containing asphaltenes.

A method for dispersing asphaltenes in heavy crude oil or residual fuel oil;
- said method comprising adding to said heavy crude oil or residual fuel oil:
- (i) a chelating aminocarboxylic acid-C8-C22 amine complex;
- (ii) a C15-C21 bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amide;
- and (iii) a C15-C44 imidazoline compound.
