Abstract
A method and computer usable medium storing a computer program for performing failed wireless communication diagnostics are disclosed. A failed transmission condition is recognized. A cleared number communication channel is established between a telematics unit and either a service provider or a call center responsive to the received failed transmission condition. A communication device identifier is sent to the service provider. A communication parameter associated with data generated by the service provider is received at the telematics unit.

A method of performing failed wireless communication diagnostics, the method comprising:
- recognizing a failed transmission condition;
- establishing a first cleared number communication channel between a telematics unit and a service provider responsive to the failed transmission condition;
- sending a communication device identifier to the service provider from the telematics unit;
- and
- receiving a communication parameter from the service provider at the telematics unit.
A computer readable medium storing a computer program for performing failed wireless communication diagnostics, comprising:
- computer readable code for recognizing a failed transmission condition;
- computer readable code for establishing a first cleared number communication channel between a telematics unit and a service provider responsive to the failed transmission condition;
- computer readable code for sending a communication device identifier to the service provider from the telematics unit;
- and
- computer readable code for receiving a communication parameter from the service provider at the telematics unit.
A method of performing failed wireless communication diagnostics, the method comprising:
- recognizing a failed transmission condition;

- computer readable code for establishing a first cleared number communication channel between a telematics unit and a call center responsive to the failed transmission condition;

- computer readable code for receiving a communication parameter from the call center at the telematics unit.
