Abstract
The present invention is related to a method of detecting the dysregulation of GPR86 activity.

A method of detecting the dysregulation of GPR86 activity, said method comprising:
- a) contacting a sample with a ligand specific for a GPR86 polypeptide;
- and
- b) detecting an activity of said GPR86 polypeptide in said sample, wherein a difference in said activity relative to a standard is indicative of dysregulated GPR86 activity.
