Abstract
A panel hingedly connected to the body of a computer that includes an optical disc drive in electrical communication with the computer is provided.
Claims25
A panel adapted to be hingedly connected to a desktop computer, the panel having a front face and a rear face, wherein the rear face of the panel is adapted to cover at feast a portion of a first face of the computer, and wherein the panel is further adapted to retain a disc drive in electrical communication with the computer.
A computer comprising:
- (a) a computer housing having a first face for providing access to computer components;
- (b) a panel hingedly connected to the computer and adapted to retain an optical disc drive, the panel having a front face and a rear face, wherein the rear face of the panel is adapted to cover at least a portion of the first face of the computer housing;
- and
- (c) an optical disc drive secured to the panel and in electrical communication with the computer.
