Abstract
Embodiments of the present invention comprise systems, methods and devices for imaging device event notification subscription.
Claims20
A method for imaging device event notification subscription, said method comprising:
- a) sending an event subscription request from a subscribing application to a notification application on an imaging device (IDev), said request comprising a subscribing application address and an event identification;
- and
- b) receiving an event notification from said notification application at said subscribing application address, when an event identified in said event identification occurs.
An apparatus for imaging device event notification subscription, said apparatus comprising:
- a) a subscribing application comprising
- i) a subscribing application address at which said application may receive data, and
- ii) a sender for sending a subscription request;
- b) wherein said sender may send an event subscription request from said subscribing application to an IDev notification application, said request comprising said subscribing application address and an event identification;
- c) a notification receiver for receiving a notification from said notification application at said subscribing application address when an event described in said event identification occurs.
