Displaying apparatus

A displaying apparatus comprising:

• a first substrate, having a pad part for connection to an external circuit;
• a second substrate oppositely facing the first substrate;
• a sealant positioned between an outer circumferential region of the first substrate and the second substrate, the sealant adhering the first substrate to the second substrate;
• and
• an outer black matrix formed on the outer circumferential region of one of the first and second substrates,
• wherein a width of the outer black matrix corresponding to at least a part of the outer circumferential region is different from a width of the outer black matrix corresponding to another part of the circumferential region.

A liquid crystal display panel comprising:

• a first substrate having a first orientation film;
• a second substrate having a second orientation film;
• a liquid crystal layer positioned between the first orientation film and the second orientation film;
• and,
• a sealant adhering the first substrate to the second substrate and enclosing the liquid crystal layer therein, a first portion of the sealant overlapping the first and second orientation films and a second portion of the sealant not overlapping the first and second orientation films.
