An electrode for a wire bonding apparatus, the electrode comprising:
- a body portion;
- and
- a tip portion adjacent the body portion, the tip portion having a substantially spherical configuration.
An electrode for an electronic flame-off wand, the electrode comprising:
- a body portion;
- and
- a tip portion adjacent the body portion, the tip portion defining an outer surface having a diameter that is greater than a diameter of an outer surface defined by the body portion.
