Automatic transmission

An automatic transmission comprising:

• a housing that is constructed of a plurality of divided parts and has a space, which is surrounded by these divided parts, formed therein, one of the divided parts defining a through hole;
• a pressure control unit that is housed in the housing and controls hydraulic pressure supplied to a transmission mechanism by an operation of an electric component;
• an internal cable that is housed in the housing and is electrically connected to the electric component of the pressure control unit;
• an external cable that is electrically connected to an electric component outside the housing;
• and
• a connector that is arranged in such a way as to pass through the through hole and has a control circuit unit electrically connected to the internal cable and the external cable,
• wherein an external exposed portion exposed outside the housing in the connector is formed in such a way as to be able to pass through the through hole.
