Clip-on price channel

An elongated clip-on label holder for a storage room shelf, the shelf comprising a metal rail which grips onto a front edge of a wood board, the rail being generally U-shaped and having two end surfaces at the top of the U, the label holder comprising:

• a label holding section held by a connecting section, the connecting section extending from a shelf gripping section;
• the shelf gripping section having a rear-facing, U-shaped flange that closely conforms to the shape of the metal rail;
• and,
• the shelf gripping section having two opposing fingers that grip against the two end surfaces of the U-shaped rail.
• the connecting section having a reduced thickness to form a hinge that allows the label holding section to be rotated such that the label holding section can be moved out of the way to access a lower shelf.

An elongated clip-on label holder for a shelf, the shelf having a first grove on a top side and a second grove on a bottom side near a front edge of the shelf, the label holder comprising:

• a label holding section held by a connecting section, the connecting section extending from a shelf gripping section;
• the shelf gripping section having a rear-facing, U-shaped flange that closely conforms to the shape of the edge the shelf;
• the shelf gripping section having two opposing fingers that mate with the groves on the top and the bottom side of the shelf;
• the connecting section having a horizontal section, a 90° bend, a vertical section and a reduced thickness to form a hinge that allows the label holding section to be rotated such that the label holding section can be moved out of the way to access a lower shelf.
• the horizontal section extending from a top corner of the shelf gripping section to the 90° bend;
• the vertical section extending downward from the 90° bend;
• the hinge extending below the vertical section;
• and,
• the label holding section extends below the hinge.
