Abstract
A hinge, particularly for doors, having a support element (11, 12) for a hinge-pin (13), the support element having a hinge-plate (11) for installation in a door casing, and a lower sleeve (12) which is designed to support a hinge-pin (13). The hinge-pin (13) supports an upper sleeve (14), which is connected to an upper hinge-plate (15), for connection with the door leaf. On the hinge-pin (13) is arranged at lest one sleeve (23), particularly of a plastic material. The sleeve (23) has an axial hole (25), for a part (19) of the hinge-pin (13), where the hole (25) is eccentrically located in relation to the axis of the sleeve and to its outer surface, as the sleeve (23) is arranged to be pivotable in the accommodating sleeve (12).
Claims4
A hinge, particularly for doors, having a lower support element (11,12) for a hinge-pin (13), the lower support element has a hinge-plate (11) for installation in a support structure, such as a door casing, and a lower sleeve (12) which is designed to support a hinge-pin (13), the hinge-pin (13) supports an upper sleeve (14) which is connected to an upper hinge-plate (15) making an upper support element for connection with a door leaf or a similar element, on the hinge-pin (13) being arranged lower and upper sleeves (23,29), particularly of a plastic material, wherein said lower and upper sleeves (23,29) each has an axial hole (25) for the hinge-pin (13), where the hole (25) is eccentrically located in relation to the axis of the sleeve and to its outer surface, as at least one of the sleeves (23) being arranged to be pivotable in the supporting element (12), characterized in
- a) that the lower and the upper support elements (11, 12;
- 14, 15) are identical to be interchangeable,
- b) that the lower and the upper sleeves (23;
- 29) are identical,
- c) that the lower and upper sleeves (23,29) have an outer diameter to fit closely into the sleeves (12;
- 14) of the support elements,
- d) that the lower and the upper sleeves (23;
- 29) for the hinge-pin (13) has an end flange (26), and
- e) that at least the supporting flange (26) of the upper sleeve (29) is engaging a central flange (21) of the hinge-pin (13) axially.
