Abstract
A glycolipopeptide comprising at least one disease-associated epitope, and characterized by at least one lipidated interior amino acid or by the presence of a MUC1 epitope, may be used in a vaccine, preferably in conjunction with a liposome.
Claims101
A non-naturally occurring glycolipopeptide comprising at least five amino acids, at least one amino acid being a glycosylated amino acid and at least one amino acid being a lipidated amino acid, where at least one lipidated amino acid is an interior amino acid, said glycolipopeptide comprising at least one disease-associated epitope.
A non-naturally occurring glycolipopeptide comprising at least five amino acids, at least one amino acid being a glycosylated amino acid and at least one amino acid being a lipidated amino acid, said glycolipopeptide comprising at least one B cell epitope or at least one T cell epitope, at least one of said epitopes being a MUC1 cancer-associated epitope.
A lipidated amino acid of the following formula
- wherein Z is H or an amino protecting group,
- R is H or CH3, and
- n is an integer with values ranging from 6 to 26.
