Abstract
Methods and pharmaceutical compositions relating to selective antagonists of the 5-HT6 receptor and 5-HT2A receptor useful for the treatment of cognitive disorders are presented.
Claims23
A method of treating a disease state associated with a cognitive disorder comprising:
- administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a composition comprising a selective 5-HT6 receptor antagonist and a selective 5-HT2A receptor antagonist, or a combined selective 5-HT6/5-HT2A antagonist.
A pharmaceutical composition for treating a disease state associated with a cognitive disorder comprising an effective amount of a composition comprising a selective 5-HT6 receptor antagonist and a selective 5-HT2A receptor antagonist, or a combined selective 5-HT6/5-HT2A receptor antagonist, and a pharmaceutically acceptable excipient.
