Terminal and method of automatically executing function establishment thereof

A terminal management system comprising:

• a plurality of terminals supporting data communication through a communication network;
• a terminal manager communicating with said terminals through said communication network to execute terminal function establishment of the terminals;
• wherein each of said terminals temporally stores, in said terminal manager, function establishment information regarding the functions of the terminal, to transmit said function establishment information to at least one of other terminals through said terminal manager.

A terminal used in a terminal management system having a plurality of said terminals supporting data communication through a communication network, and a terminal manager communicating with said terminals through said communication network to execute terminal function establishment of the terminals, said terminal comprising:

• a function controller executing various functions based upon the function establishment information;
• and
• a function establishment information manager transmitting to said terminal manager a registration request including said function establishment information, or transmitting to said terminal manager a request to update said function establishment information the function establishment information received from said terminal manager.

A terminal manager used in a terminal management system having a plurality of terminals supporting data communication through a communication network, and said terminal manager communicating with said terminals through said communication network to execute terminal function establishment of the terminals, said terminal manager comprising:

• a function establishment information registration means registering the function establishment information included in a registration request from a terminal;
• and
• a function establishment information transmitter transmitting said function establishment information based upon a request for update from at least one of said terminals.

A method used in a terminal management system comprising a plurality of terminals supporting data communication through a communication network, and a terminal manager communicating with said terminals through said communication network to execute terminal function establishment of the terminals, said method comprising steps of:

• transmitting to said terminal manager a registration request including said function establishment information, or transmitting to said terminal manager a request to update said function establishment information the function establishment information received from said terminal manager, by said terminal;
• and
• registering the function establishment information included in a registration request from said terminal, by said terminal manager or transmitting said function establishment information based upon a request for update from said terminals, by said terminal manager.

A computer program allowing a computer of a terminal which is used in a terminal management system comprising a plurality of terminals supporting data communication through a communication network, and a terminal manager communicating with said terminals through said communication network to execute terminal function establishment of the terminals, to perform the steps of

• executing various functions based upon the function establishment information;
• and
• transmitting to said terminal manager a registration request including said function establishment information, or transmitting to said terminal manager a request to update said function establishment information the function establishment information received from said terminal manager.

A computer program allowing a computer of a terminal manager which is used in a terminal management system comprising a plurality of terminals supporting data communication through a communication network, and a terminal manager communicating with said terminals through said communication network to execute terminal function establishment of the terminals, to perform the steps of

• registering the terminal manager the function establishment information included in a registration request from said terminal;
• and
• transmitting said function establishment information based upon a request for update from said terminals.
