Abstract
The present invention is directed to novel polypeptides and to nucleic acid molecules encoding those polypeptides. Also provided herein are vectors and host cells comprising those nucleic acid sequences, chimeric polypeptide molecules comprising the polypeptides of the present invention fused to heterologous polypeptide sequences, antibodies which bind to the polypeptides of the present invention and to methods for producing the polypeptides of the present invention.
Claims19
A diagnostic method, comprising determining, in a test biological sample obtained from a mammalian subject, the level of nucleic acid encoding a PRO7179 polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:2 relative to the level of said nucleic acid in a corresponding normal biological sample wherein increased level of said nucleic acid in the test biological sample is indicative that the test biological sample contains cancerous cells.
A diagnostic method comprising determining the expression level of the PRO7179 polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:2 in test biological sample relative to a normal biological sample, wherein overexpression of said polypeptide in the test biological sample is indicative that the sample contains cancerous cells.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
