A method for the manufacture of a pharmaceutical composition, comprising combining isolated cells with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the cells are obtainable from a cell line selected from the group consisting of CTX-OE03 (deposited under ECACC Accession No. 04091601), STROC05 (deposited under ECACC Accession No. 04110301), and HPCOA07 (deposited under ECACC Accession No. 04092302).

A method for the treatment of a disorder associated with cell loss or cell damage, comprising transplanting an effective amount of isolated cells into a patient, wherein the cells are obtainable from a cell line selected from the group consisting of CTX-OE03 (deposited under ECACC Accession No. 04091601), STROC05 (deposited under ECACC Accession No. 04110301), and HPCOA07 (deposited under ECACC Accession No. 04092302).

A method for determining the effect of at least one biological or chemical agent on a neurological disease or disorder, comprising contacting a culture of cells with said biological or chemical agent;

• and determining the effect of said biological or chemical agent on at least one of the cells, wherein the cells are obtainable from a cell line selected from the group consisting of CTX-OE03 (deposited under ECACC Accession No. 04091601), STROC05 (deposited under ECACC Accession No. 04110301), HPCOA07 (deposited under ECACC Accession No. 04092302).
