Abstract
The invention relates to a computer-implemented system and method for creating, editing, and utilizing one or more rules for multi-relational ontology creation and maintenance. The system may enable the creation and testing of various rules against a known “test-corpus.” The system may then utilize these various rules to extract and curate assertions into one or more multi-relational ontologies.
Claims20
A computer-implemented system for creating, editing, and utilizing one or more rules for multi-relational ontology creation and maintenance, the system comprising:
- means for creating at least one rule to be applied to a test-corpus of documents having known contents;
- means for validating the at least one rule, wherein the at least one rule is applied to the test-corpus to obtain actual results, and wherein the actual results are compared to expected results;
- means for storing the at least one rule if it has been validated;
- and
- means for applying the at least one stored rule to a corpus of documents to produce at least one rule-based product, wherein the at least one rule based product is used to create one or more multi-relational ontologies.
