Abstract
In an image processing apparatus connected to an external apparatus through a network, a user interface is displayed in a display device on documents. A user's instruction is received in the user interface to operate a document stored in the external apparatus and/or in the image processing apparatus. An operation history of documents stored in the external apparatus is obtained. Then; data on the documents displayed in the user interface is controlled based on the obtained operation history.
Claims24
An image processing apparatus connected to an external apparatus through a network, comprising:
- a display device providing a user interface wherein a user can operate a document stored in the external apparatus and/or in the image processing apparatus;
- a first read out device which obtains an operation history of the documents stored in the external apparatus;
- and
- a display controller which controls data on documents displayed in the user interface based on the operation history obtained by said first read out device.
An image processing method for an image processing apparatus connected to an external apparatus through a network, the method comprising:
- displaying a user interface in a display device on documents;
- receiving a user's instruction in the user interface to operate a document stored in the external apparatus and/or in the image processing apparatus;
- obtaining an operation history of documents stored in the external apparatus;
- and
- controlling data on the documents displayed in the user interface based on the obtained operation history.
A computer-executable program for an image processing apparatus connected to an external apparatus through a network, the program comprising the steps of:
- displaying a user interface in a display device on documents;
- receiving a user's instruction in the user interface to operate a document stored in the external apparatus and/or in the image processing apparatus;
- obtaining an operation history of documents stored in the external apparatus;
- and
- controlling data on the documents displayed in the user interface based on the obtained operation history obtained.
