Abstract
What is described is an aqueous pharmaceutical composition for intranasal delivery of PTH, comprising a PTH molecule, and one or more excipients selected from the group consisting of a chelating agent, an alcohol, and a surface active agent, wherein the PTH molecule selected from the group consisting of SEQ NO: 1, SEQ NO: 2, and SEQ NO: 3.
Claims22
An aqueous pharmaceutical composition for intranasal delivery of PTH, comprising a PTH molecule, and one or more excipients selected from the group consisting of a chelating agent, an alcohol, and a surface active agent, wherein the PTH molecule selected from the group consisting of SEQ NO:
- 1, SEQ NO:
- 2, and SEQ NO:
- 3.
The pharmaceutical composition of claim 2, wherein the chelating agent is ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid.
The pharmaceutical composition of claim 17, wherein ethanol is at a formula concentration of about 2% (v/v) or greater.
The pharmaceutical composition of claim 17, wherein ethanol is at a formula concentration of about 10% (v/v) or greater.
An aqueous pharmaceutical composition for intranasal delivery of PTH, comprising a PTH molecule, and one or more excipients selected from the group consisting of a chelating agent, an alcohol, and a surface active agent, wherein the aqueous solution is in the form of liquid droplets.
An aqueous pharmaceutical composition for intranasal delivery of PTH, comprising a PTH molecule, and one or more excipients selected from the group consisting of a chelating agent, an alcohol, and a surface active agent, wherein intrnasal administration in a human subject achieves a maximum serum concentration of the PTH molecule, post-dosing (Cmax), of at least 10 pg/mL.
