Abstract
The invention relates to an actuating device for regulating a control mechanism which is subject to a force against the direction of regulation. Said actuating device comprises a drive device which has a drive shaft and is connected in a moveable manner to a rotating spindle, by which means an actuating element can be axially displaced in the direction of regulation, in a housing receiving the device. The aim of the invention is to improve one such actuating device in such a way that actuation of the control mechanism is guaranteed in a constructively simple and cost-effective manner. In order to achieve this, the drive device comprises at least two electric motors which can respectively be actuated and controlled for the rotation of the drive shaft.
Claims25
Actuating device (1) for regulating a control mechanism which is subjected to a force against the direction of regulation (6), whereby the actuating device (1) is provided with a drive device (3) which has a drive shaft and is connected in a moveable manner to a rotating spindle (4), by which means an actuating element (5) can be axially displaced in the direction of regulation (6), in a housing (7) receiving the device, characterised in that
- the drive device (3) comprises at least two electric motors (8, 9) which can be actuated and controlled on one hand individually and on the other hand in co-operation for rotating the drive shaft (2).
Actuating device according to one of the previous claims, characterised in that
- the electric motors (8, 9) are servomotors.
Actuating device according to one of the previous claims, characterised in that
- a rotating sleeve (14) can be driven using the drive shaft (2) via a transmission device (13), the said rotating sleeve being rotationally rigidly connected to a ball nut (15) of a feed device (16), whereby the rotating spindle, realised as a recirculating ball spindle (4), is rotationally supported in the ball nut (15) for movement in the regulation direction (6).
Actuating device according to one of the previous claims, characterised in that
- at least two separate electrical connections (44, 45) are arranged on the housing cover (46) which is adjacent to the electric motors (8, 9).
Actuating device according to one of the previous claims, characterised in that
- both electric motors (8, 9) can be operated simultaneously.
Actuating device according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that
- the electric motors (8, 9) are synchronized especially by software via their motor control devices (11, 12).
Actuating device according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that
- one electric motor (8, 9) is used as the master and the other electric motor (9, 8) is used as the slave.
Actuating device according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that
- the electric motors (8, 9) are direct current motors.
Actuating device according to one of the previous claims, characterized in that
- a position sensor (47) is assigned to the drive shaft (2).
