Abstract
A quantity of an item referenced within a multilevel bill of material (BOM) is determined. A price bid for the item is received into an application framework from a supplier. The price bid is associated with the item. The cost of the multilevel BOM is determined based on the quantity of the item and the price bid.

A method, comprising:
- determining a quantity of at least one item referenced within at least one multilevel bill of material (BOM);
- receiving at least one price bid into an application framework from at least one supplier for said at least one item;
- associating said at least one price bid with said at least one item;
- and
- determining a first cost of said at least one multilevel BOM based on said quantity of said at least one item and said at least one price bid.
A method, comprising:
- determining a quantity of at least one item referenced within at least one bill of material (BOM);
- receiving a first price bid into an application framework from a first supplier for at least one item;
- receiving a second price bid into said application framework from a second supplier for said at least one item;
- associating said first and second price bids with said at least one item;
- and
- comparing said first and second line item price bids.
An apparatus, comprising:
- a processor to determine a quantity of at least one item referenced within at least one multilevel bill of material (BOM);
- to receive at least one price bid into an application framework from at least one supplier for said at least one item;
- to associate said at least one price bid with said at least one item;
- and
- to determine a first cost of said at least one multilevel BOM based on said quantity of said at least one item and said at least one price bid.
An apparatus, comprising:
- a processor to determine a quantity of at least one item referenced within at least one bill of material (BOM);
- receive a first price bid into an application framework from a first supplier for at least one item;
- receive a second price bid into said application framework from a second supplier for said at least one item;
- associate said first and second price bids with said at least one item;
- and
- compare said first and second line item price bids.
An article comprising a machine-readable storage medium containing instructions that if executed enable a processor to determine a quantity of at least one item referenced within at least one multilevel bill of material (BOM);
- to receive at least one price bid into an application framework from at least one supplier for said at least one item;
- to associate said at least one price bid with said at least one item;
- and to determine a first cost of said at least one multilevel BOM based on said quantity of said at least one item and said at least one price bid.
