Claims20
A method of identifying compounds for amelioration of Smad3 mediated epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) comprising the steps of:
- a) administering a test Smad3 inhibitor to a cell-based or animal model-based system;
- and
- b) measuring the effect on Smad3 mediated EMT, wherein a compound is selected as a candidate on the basis of amelioration of Smad3 mediated EMT.
