Abstract
An anti-itch composition comprising ammonium hydroxide, water, gelatin, a surfactant and menthol essential oils. The composition is a topical antiseptic preparation for neutralizing allergic reactions caused by insect bites, including ants, bees stings, fleas and the like. The composition also provides relief of itching, swelling pain, inflammation and decreases the risk of developing anaphylaxis caused by insect bites.

A liquid anti-itch composition comprising:
- ammonium hydroxide;
- water;
- gelatin;
- menthol essential oil;
- and
- surfactant,
- wherein an acid-base chemical reaction occurs to neutralize itchiness caused by insect, flea and bug bites when the composition is applied to a person's skin.
