Abstract
A transfer unit for transferring glass articles from a supporting surface to a carry-off conveyor, wherein a pickup member, for engaging the articles for transfer, is hinged to one end of an actuating arm to rotate, with respect to the actuating arm, about a movable hinge axis under the control of a control unit for adjusting the position of the pickup member independently of the position of the actuating arm.
