Abstract
A tire/wheel assembly having a run-flat support (3) inserted into the cavity section of a pneumatic tire (2) coaxially with a rim, wherein the outer circumferential surface of the run-flat support (3) is coated with a resin layer (8) or at least a region on the inner circumferential surface of the pneumatic tire (2) facing the outer circumferential surface of the run-flat support (3) is coated with the resin layer (8). Alternatively, in a tire/wheel assembly having a run-flat support (3) inserted into the cavity section of the pneumatic tire (2) coaxially with the rim, a cover plate (10) rotatable in the circumferential direction is arranged on the outer circumferential surface of the run-flat support (3).

- an outer peripheral surface of the run-flat support is coated with a resin layer.
