Abstract
The present invention relates to a product of reaction between a primary and/or secondary amine and one or more active ingredients. By the present invention, there is provided a release of the active component over a longer period of time than by the use of the active itself.
Claims26
A product of reaction between:
- a.) an amine containing component comprising a primary or secondary amine, said component having an Odor Intensity Index of less than that of a 1% solution of methylanthranilate in dipropylene glycol, with the proviso that said amine containing component is not an aminostyrene;
- b.) an active component selected from a ketone, an aldehyde, and mixtures thereof;
- said product of reaction having a Dry Surface Odor Index of more than 5.
