Abstract
A transceiver in a full duplex communication system includes a hybrid circuit for transmitting a transmission signal or receiving a receive signal via the channel, the hybrid circuit includes an echo cancellation device for removing transmission signal components from the receive signal; wherein the hybrid circuit outputs a processed receive signal; and a gain amplifier being an OP-RC AGC is directly connected to the hybrid circuit for amplifying the processed receive signal, wherein a first node of the gain amplifier coupled to the echo cancellation device is a virtual ground.
Claims20
A transceiver in a full duplex communication system, the transceiver comprising:
- a hybrid circuit coupled to a channel for transmitting a transmission signal, receiving a receive signal via the channel, and removing the transmission signal from the receive signal to output a processed receive signal;
- and
- a gain amplifier having a virtual ground node directly connected to the hybrid circuit, and for amplifying the processed receive signal.
A transceiver in a full duplex communication system, comprising:
- a hybrid circuit coupled to a channel for transmitting a transmission signal and receiving a receive signal via the channel;
- and
- a filter connected to a gain amplifier for filtering at least one of a noise and a harmonic component from the signal output of the gain amplifier.
The transceiver of claim 18, wherein the hybrid circuit comprises an echo cancellation device for removing the transmission signal from the receive signal.
The transceiver of claim 19, wherein the hybrid circuit outputs a processed receive signal.
