Abstract
A process is provided for obtaining Mulberry extract that is of higher quality than presently available commercial extracts. The extracts may be provided in cosmeceutical raw material forms, including a paste, liquid or powder that can be added to cosmetics to provide whitening effects for darkened skin through anti-tyrosinase activity, and antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

A cosmeceutical composition, comprising:
- from about 60% to about 80% w/w Mulberry extract;
- from about 0.1% to about 2% w/w preservatives;
- and
- a solvent.
