Abstract
An apparatus includes: a head; a metal wire having a first end coupled to the head and a second end coupled to a stop member; and a body having a cavity for receiving and locking the head such that when the head is locked in the cavity it cannot be removed without destroying the apparatus, wherein the head and the metal wire are operable to pass through one or more apertures of an object and the head is operable to lock in the cavity such that the body and the stop member retain the wire in engagement with the aperture and maintain the apparatus locked to the object.
Claims24
An apparatus, comprising:
- a head;
- a metal wire having a first end coupled to the head and a second end coupled to a stop member;
- and
- a body having a cavity for receiving and locking the head such that when the head is locked in the cavity it cannot be removed without destroying the apparatus,
- wherein the head and the metal wire are operable to pass through one or more apertures of an object and the head is operable to lock in the cavity such that the body and the stop member retain the wire in engagement with the aperture and maintain the apparatus locked to the object.
An apparatus, comprising:
- a shaft having a first end coupled to a head and a second end coupled to a stop member;
- and
- a body having a cavity for receiving and locking the head such that when the head is locked in the cavity it cannot be removed without destroying the apparatus,
- wherein the head and the shaft are operable to pass through one or more apertures of an object and the head is operable to lock in the cavity such that the body and the stop member retain the shaft in engagement with the aperture and maintain the apparatus locked to the object.
An apparatus, comprising:
- a shaft having a plurality of sections, each section including a first end coupled to a head, a second end coupled to a stop member, and breaking portion disposed between the head and the stopping member;
- and
- a body having a cavity for receiving the head in an insertion direction and locking the head such that when the head may not be withdrawn opposite the insertion direction without destroying the apparatus, the cavity being of sufficient length to receive more than one of the heads in an axial alignment,
- wherein a given section may be broken at the breaking portion after the head thereof has been locked into the cavity, a further one of the heads may be inserted into the cavity urging the head of the given section forward, and the further head locking within the cavity.
