Abstract
The invention relates to a bifunctional nucleic acid which includes a first nucleic acid which comprises an aptamer bonded to a second nucleic acid that possesses a biological activity (herein referred to as a “biological effector sequence”) and which is not a nucleic acid ligand.
Claims20
A nucleic acid molecule comprising:
- a first nucleic acid sequence comprising an aptamer which binds to a cell surface molecule, covalently linked to a second nucleic acid sequence comprising a biological effector sequence, wherein said biological effector sequence is not an aptamer.
A nucleic acid molecule comprising:
- a first nucleic acid sequence comprising an aptamer which binds to a cell surface molecule, linked via Watson-Crick base pairing to a second nucleic acid sequence comprising a biological effector sequence, and wherein said biological effector sequence is not an aptamer.
