A method for producing bottles, especially beverage bottles, comprising a basic bottle body (1) and a closure body (6), the basic bottle body consisting of glass, the closure body (6) being also made from glass, characterized in that said closure body (6) is connected in a monolithic manner to the basic bottle body (1) to produce a predetermined breaking point.
