A method of reducing the heart rate of a mammal, comprising administering to the mammal a composition obtained through fermentation of a lactic acid bacterium in a fermentation medium comprising a food material.
A method of generating a fermented food product for reducing the heart rate of a mammal, comprising fermenting a food material comprising animal milk or vegetable proteins with at least one lactic acid bacterium to obtain a fermented food material with heart rate reducing properties.
