Mobile telephone handset construction and method of using same

A method of using a mobile telephone handset construction comprising:

• using a mobile telephone handset construction having a latch disposed at the bottom end thereof;
• inverting the mobile telephone handset construction;
• and
• attaching the latch to a support element to suspend the mobile telephone handset construction in an inverted manner.

A mobile telephone handset construction for attachment to a support element, comprising:

• an elongated housing;
• an electronic telephone circuit at least partially contained within said housing;
• a display mounted at a top front face portion of said housing for responding to said electronic circuit to present information to the user when the display is viewed in a position adapted to be comprehended by the user;
• a keypad disposed in said housing between said display and the bottom portion of said housing;
• a carabiner latch connected to the housing for attaching to the support element to suspend the construction therefrom in an inverted manner for storage purposes;
• members for securing said latch to a bottom portion of said housing at a substantial distance from said display to enable the handset construction to be suspended in an inverted substantially vertical position from the support element so that the construction can be moved pivotally from the inverted position by the hand of the user to a position where the user is permitted to read the information contained on the display while the construction remains attached to the support element.

A mobile telephone handset construction for attachment to a support element, comprising:

• an elongated housing;
• a carabiner latch connected to the bottom portion of the housing for attaching to the support element to suspend the construction therefrom in an inverted manner for storage purposes, said latch having a hook portion and a latch member pivotally connected thereto;
• and
• members for connecting the latch pivotally to a battery door, said battery door having a recess for receiving said latch for storage purposes.
