A display device comprising:

• a substrate having a reflecting surface;
• and
• a display means over the substrate having the reflecting surface,
• wherein a plurality of light-emitting elements each having a luminescent material sandwiched between a pair of electrodes having light-transmittivity are arranged in the display means, and
• wherein the display means is secured to the substrate with a barrier film therebetween.

A display device comprising:

• a substrate having a mirror surface;
• a display means over the substrate having a mirror surface;
• and
• an image sensing means over the substrate having a mirror surface,
• wherein a plurality of light-emitting elements each having a luminescent material sandwiched between a pair of electrodes having light-transmittivity are arranged in the display means, and
• wherein a plurality of photovoltaic conversion elements are arranged in the image sensing means.

A display device comprising:

• a substrate having a reflecting surface;
• a display means over the substrate having a reflecting surface;
• and
• an image sensing means over the substrate having a reflecting surface,
• wherein a plurality of light-emitting elements each having a luminescent material sandwiched between a pair of electrodes having light-transmittivity are arranged in the display means,
• wherein a plurality of photovoltaic conversion elements are arranged in the image sensing means, and
• wherein the display means and the image sensing means are secured to the substrate with a barrier film therebetween.

A display device comprising:

• a substrate having a mirror surface;
• and
• a display means over the substrate having a mirror surface,
• wherein a plurality of light-emitting elements each having a liquid crystal material sandwiched between a pair of electrodes having light-transmittivity are arranged in the display means.

A display device comprising:

• a substrate having a reflecting surface;
• and
• a display means over the substrate having the reflecting surface,
• wherein a plurality of light-emitting elements each having a liquid crystal material sandwiched between a pair of electrodes having light-transmittivity are arranged in the display means, and
• wherein the display means is secured to the substrate with a barrier film therebetween.
